To support the smooth and safe operation of these flights, PT JAS Aero Engineering Services (JAE) has expanded its Line Maintenance services to Semarang and has once again been entrusted by Scoot as its partner. Through this collaboration, JAE provides technical support to ensure each aircraft remains airworthy and complies with international aviation safety standards prior to subsequent flights. Beyond Semarang, JAE also delivers technical support for Scoot’s operations at several other international airports in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, Lombok, Kertajati, Balikpapan, Pekanbaru, Makassar, Padang, Manado, and Labuan Bajo. This service footprint reflects JAE’s strategic role in supporting international airline operations nationwide and strengthening Indonesia’s aviation industry ecosystem.
“The establishment of JAE’s Line Maintenance services in Semarang demonstrates our support for our partners’ flight operations and for the aviation industry at large. We aim to help expand air connectivity and foster broader collaboration across airports in Indonesia. We thank Scoot for its trust, as well as all stakeholders who contributed to the successful launch of these operations,” said Iman Sinambela, President Director of PT JAS Aero Engineering Services.
In addition to supporting current operations, JAE’s Line Maintenance presence in Semarang is expected to meet future operational needs. This technical support underscores JAE’s ongoing efforts to progressively expand its services across international airports in Indonesia. Looking ahead, JAE remains committed to enhancing service quality and operational capabilities through close collaboration with partners, supporting the long-term, sustainable growth of the aviation industry.
