JAS Airport Services and JAS Aero Engineering Services Support Etihad Airways’ Inaugural Flight Abu Dhabi–Medan Route

Medan, 3 October 2025 – Two entities under CAS Group, PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta Tbk (JAS Airport Services) and PT JAS Aero Engineering Services (JAES), proudly collaborated to support the inaugural flight of Etihad Airways connecting Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Medan (KNO), starting 2 October 2025. Operated three times a week using an Airbus A321LR, the new route marks a strategic move to strengthen air connectivity between the Middle East and Indonesia.

The inaugural flight Etihad Airways EY 480 landed at Kualanamu International Airport at 07:37 local time and was warmly welcomed with a water salute ceremony. As the official ground handling partner of Etihad Airways in Indonesia, JAS Airport Services ensured a safe, smooth, and efficient operation through comprehensive services including Passenger Services, Ramp Handling, and Aviation Security, all conducted in accordance with international standards.

Meanwhile, JAES provided technical aircraft maintenance (MRO) support covering Aircraft Certification, Technical Ramp, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) assistance, ensuring each aircraft operated in optimal condition and in full compliance with international safety standards. Beyond Medan, JAES also supports Etihad Airways operations in Jakarta and Bali.
