Bali, 27 October 2024 – Jeju Air, a leading low-cost carrier from South Korea, has officially launched its direct international flight service connecting South Korea with Bali, Indonesia. The inaugural flight on this new route was successfully operated, departing from Incheon International Airport (ICN) at 15:40 local time and arriving at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar (DPS) at 21:50 local time. The return flight from Bali to Incheon is scheduled for 23:05 local time. Jeju Air will operate daily flights on this route using Boeing 737-NG and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
The launch of this route is an important milestone for Jeju Air in expanding its network in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia. Bali, known for its stunning natural beauty, unique local culture, and the warmth of its people, is one of the world’s most sought-after tourist destinations. With the opening of this direct flight, it is expected to facilitate more South Korean travelers wishing to experience the charm of Bali, while also strengthening the tourism sector between the two countries.
The inaugural flight also marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration between Jeju Air and PT JAS Aero Engineering Services (JAE). JAE, a leading provider of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services in Indonesia, has over 20 years of experience ensuring aircraft meet safety and airworthiness standards through certification services. To support Jeju Air’s operations in Bali, JAE will ensure that every aircraft complies with these standards and is ready for safe and optimal travel.

We are grateful for this trust and look forward to continuing to provide the best service.”
