Expanding Horizons: CAS Group’s Legacy in Comprehensive Aviation Support Services
In 1984, in response to the growing demands at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta Tbk (JAS Airport Services) was formed to offer all-inclusive ground handling and cargo handling service solutions.
By 2003, CAS Group continued to grow, establishing PT JAS Aero Engineering Services (JAS Aero) to provide aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), solidifying a strategic partnership with Singapore Airlines Engineering Company (SIA-EC). The following year, JAS Airport Services ventured into the capital market by listing its shares on the Surabaya Stock Exchange and entering a partnership with SATS Ltd (Singapore Airport Terminal Services), enhancing its service capabilities.
Throughout this time, CAS Group strengthened its position in the aviation sector by forming key strategic alliances and expanding its portfolio across air transportation and warehouse services. These collaborations enabled the company to navigate the global market with expertise and confidence.
In 2009, PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk. (CAS Group) was officially founded, marking a new era of growth in the aviation services industry. The company went public in 2011, listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange under the stock code CASS. That same year, CAS Group acquired PT Cardig Anugrah Sarana Catering (CAS Food Institutional Catering), expanding its catering services to institutional sectors. In 2012, the Group further solidified its catering presence by acquiring PT Purantara Mitra Angkasa Dua (Purantara Inflight Catering), becoming a major player in aviation catering services.
