PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk Officially Changes Name to PT Cahaya Aero Services Tbk

Jakarta, 25 April 2025 – PT Cardig Aero Services Tbk (CAS) officially announced its name change to PT Cahaya Aero Services Tbk. The decision was approved by shareholders during the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held at SCTV Tower, Jakarta, on Friday (25/4).

CAS President Director, Andya Daniswara, explained that the name change was prompted by a shift in shareholder composition, with PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (Emtek) becoming the new controlling shareholder since April 2024.

“We made the name change because the previous shareholder ownership no longer exists, and the former shareholder had the rights to the previous brand name. Therefore, we chose a name that reflects optimism and leadership, which is Cahaya,” said Andya during the EGMS.

Despite the corporate name change, the company’s logo and subsidiary names, such as JAS, JAS Aero, and Purantara, will remain unchanged.
“However, the company logo and the names of subsidiaries such as JAS, JAS Aero, and Purantara will not change. The CAS logo remains the same; only the legal name has changed. The abbreviation also remains the same,” he continued.

At the same event, CAS also announced the relocation of its registered office from Halim, Jakarta, to Tangerang, Banten, at Wisma Soewarna Office, 3rd Floor, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. This strategic move aims to strengthen business ecosystem synergy and bring company operations closer to the aviation activity hub.

“For that reason, we decided to move closer to our operational centers and clients, as well as players in the airport ecosystem. One of our missions is to collaborate and synergize more closely with aviation industry players, regulators, and airport operators,” said Andya.

In addition to the EGMS, CAS also held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on the same day, presenting its improved performance aligned with the ongoing recovery of Indonesia’s air transportation sector post-pandemic.
