Designed to cater to international travelers, the lounge features a futuristic concept infused with Balinese cultural elements and offers a larger capacity than before.

JAS President Commissioner Herman Prayitno explained that the name “Tujuwan Lounge” derives from the words “seven” and “heaven,” inspired by the phrase “seventh heaven,” symbolizing ultimate comfort, enjoyment, and satisfaction for travelers.
“We are excited to present a refreshed lounge with a futuristic concept and an interior design that reflects the natural beauty of Bali. The name Tujuwan, meaning ‘destination,’ ensures the lounge is an integral part of travelers’ journeys to Bali. We extend our deepest appreciation to PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia for their outstanding support during the renovation of Tujuwan Lounge,” said Herman.
Regional II CEO of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, Wahyudi, also commented, “Tujuwan Lounge represents our commitment to providing the best facilities for tourists visiting Bali. Air travel is not just about transportation—it’s a holistic experience. We hope Tujuwan Lounge offers a more comfortable, exclusive, and enjoyable atmosphere for passengers. Congratulations once again to PT JAS.”
As a key gateway for international travelers to Bali, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport provides visitors with an initial impression of Bali’s charm and Indonesian hospitality. The revamped Tujuwan Lounge offers a harmonious blend of comfort, luxury, and a touch of Balinese culture, solidifying its status as a premier passenger lounge.
After undergoing a six-month renovation, the Tujuwan Lounge now boasts a unique and futuristic Balinese-inspired design, featuring soft lines and curves inspired by nature, paired with premium materials such as marble and metal. Paying homage to Balinese heritage, the interior incorporates delicate elements of traditional Balinese craftsmanship, including the use of Endek textile motifs as lighting features, adding depth and authenticity to the space.
The lounge offers a wide range of amenities to ensure maximum comfort for passengers. With a total of 257 seats (including 89 seats in the lounge extension on the 3rd floor), guests can enjoy unlimited buffet dining, a free-flow bar, and two VIP rooms for added privacy.
New facilities include a smoking room, shower room, and a groundbreaking digital lounge access system, enabling passengers to enter the lounge simply by scanning their boarding pass.
“We hope the new Tujuwan Lounge enhances the passenger experience, making every journey more memorable while setting a new standard for unique and exclusive travel experiences,” Herman concluded.
