TransNusa Launches Inaugural Flight from Jakarta (CGK) to Subang (SZB)

August 2, 2024 – TransNusa proudly inaugurated its first direct flight from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta (CGK) to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang (SZB), Malaysia, aboard an Airbus A320. This significant milestone marks an extension of the longstanding partnership between PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta (JAS) and TransNusa, which has flourished since 2013. With this inaugural flight, JAS now oversees ground handling operations for eight TransNusa routes.

The celebratory event welcomed esteemed VVIP guests, including:

The event opened with remarks by Mr. Bayu Sutanto, who emphasized the strategic importance of this new route and the trust placed in JAS as their dedicated ground handling partner. Mr. Nazri Othman followed with a speech reiterating JAS’s commitment to supporting TransNusa’s operational success. Finally, Mr. Purnama Pangalinan addressed the audience, expressing the airport authority’s continued support for enhancing aviation services in the region.

The ceremony featured a symbolic cake cutting, presented to the first passenger on the Subang-bound flight, followed by a ribbon-cutting with the distinguished VVIP guests.

This inaugural flight marks a promising new chapter in TransNusa’s ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional service to its passengers, with the continued backing of JAS.
